A recent survey found that more than 80 percent of people are now using their mobile phones for their job and many of them are taking advantage of the latest in social networking.
And, according to the survey, people are using social media for the wrong reasons.
A recent article by the Consumer Reports magazine found that the top three reasons people use social media in their work are: To keep up with their social circle, to share content and information with their team and others, and to engage with their colleagues.
The study also found that, while social media use was seen as an effective way to keep in touch with their family and friends, it did not always help them meet new people.
The article also found there was a disconnect between the social networking activity people were doing and the content they were posting and sharing.
“The majority of people who are using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for personal or professional purposes are not doing anything that will actually be a direct result of the social network,” said David Koehn, senior research associate at Consumer Reports.
“Instead, they’re just creating content that they’re sharing to their friends.”
The study said that a social network could be a good place to be, but it should not be used as a substitute for real time communication with your colleagues.
“When people are on social media, they aren’t actually communicating directly with their bosses or their managers,” Koehl said.
“They’re trying to connect with their coworkers, with their clients, and with their friends, which can have a negative impact on the quality of the relationships they have with them.”
The survey also found many people were finding that social media did not help them find the right fit with their current job.
“People are not looking for the most relevant and meaningful information they can find on their own.
They’re looking for something that’s like a social hub, that’s the best fit for them,” Koeshn said.
Koehns findings came after another study by the company found that people are less satisfied with the way their job functions when they use social networking platforms.
According to the study, 43 percent of respondents said they had a negative view of their work if they used social networking sites.
“Many of us use our work phones as our primary social media device,” said Mark Hofer, CEO of the company, in a statement.
“It’s our job to make sure that we are doing everything we can to ensure that we’re using these platforms as efficiently as possible.”
The company also said it was working on an app to make it easier for people to find information on their phones and share it.
Koeshns app will let you find the most useful information from social networks and then you can share it directly with your team.
The app will be released for iOS and Android on March 2.
