An interview with network marketing manager and author Jason O’Brien about the future of network marketing.1 hour agoI think you should spend your money on something you are passionate about, you should do something you love.
If you are spending $20 a month on a new product or service, you would be crazy not to do that.
I’ve seen people spend $500 a month for a new domain, I’ve never seen anyone spend $30 a month to go back to a product that worked but no one is ever complaining about that.
Network marketing is not a magic bullet.
Network marketers do not solve everything, but if you’re going to do network marketing, you’re not going to spend more money on it if you want to achieve what you want.2 hours agoThe most important thing you can do is to take your time, do a little research and be open to new things.
Networking is like a relationship, you can’t make a relationship out of it.
You have to take the time to be honest and have a good conversation with people about what they want from you.
It’s important to learn as much as you can about your potential customers and what they like and don’t like about you, and then try to do things to improve your communication.3 hours agoOne of the biggest misconceptions I’ve heard about networking is that it’s a one-way street.
You can’t just jump on the bandwagon and say, “I’m a networker!”
The fact of the matter is, if you are going to be a networkist, you have to be very, very careful about how you communicate with the people who you’re networking with.
Don’t be like everyone else and be like, “Oh, I just want to hang out with my friends,” or “I just want a nice coffee.”
You have people who need a real connection, and that’s where you want your relationships to be.4 hours agoHow do you manage the stress that comes with networking?
One of the best things about networking for me is that you don’t have to put on a fake identity, because I’ve been around a lot of fake identities.
You just have to do what you do and be honest.
The more you know about what people are looking for and what your strengths and weaknesses are, the better you will be at communicating and keeping your relationships.
